Robotic inguinal hernioplasty offers advantages over conventional and laparoscopic techniques. Compared to open surgery, minimally invasive techniques reduce postoperative pain, bleeding, and recovery time. Compared to laparoscopy, it provides a three-dimensional view, greater precision, and improved ergonomics, facilitating dissection in recurrent or bilateral hernias.
