Abstract

Decía en 1950 Abel Chifflet(26> sobre hernia in-_
guinal directa: "El tratamiento operatorio no está
estandarizado, habiendo un número elevado de
procedimientos y variantes. Ninguno de estos
tratamientos es de segura acción curativa." Este
concepto sigue vigente y es válido para todas las
hernias inguinales (HI).
