Two cases of policystic disease of the liver are presentad.
The symptomatic one was a large cyst tipe, the
other one was associated to a policystic renal disease.
In view ol these cases a review of the pathology was
done. The value of ultrasound for preoperatory diagnosis
is pointed out. The fenestration procedure in the
treatment of the cyst is the procedure of choice according
to the author's opinion.
