Pancreatic ultrasound study

Ultrasonography is of great utility in the study of
pancreatic pathology with 75 to 85% of correct
diagnosis ( 74% in this serie). Must be added that
among similar .utility procedures is the one of minor
cost. The value in the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis
and their complications is also seen in-:the
evolution, treatent and prognosis. In pancreatic
tumors the diagnostic efficiency can reach to 90% if
we add the aimed biopsy.
