Abstract

In the case of two patients operated upon within the last year, pre-operatory radiological . diagnosis indicated juxtacardial
diverticulum, but operatory exploration not only confirmed the presence of this lesion but also showed in both patients
the existence of other affections. In the first patient, a annular pancreas so far asymptomatic, partially occluded the duodenum. He was successfully treatment by resection of part of the ring. The second patient who carne to us with digestive
hemorrhage, had also an ulcerated bleeding gastric fibromioma which hid the gastric volvulus in the X-ray picture.
He was treated by a proximal gastrectomy with good results.
