Abstract

Four clinical cases had in common the existence
of a clinical/y evident digestive héEmorrhage of
uncertain origin. This situation is defined as a low
digestive héEmorrhage of undetected origin. The
sma/1 intestine appears to be the -ll;Ss frequent
location within the spectrum of digestive
héEmorrhages, but its importance stands out within
this clinical manifestation.
There fo/lows an analysis of likely etiologies with
particular emphasis on diagnostic approach
according to the various clinical forms of
presentation.
