Case material consists of' 62 patients with wounds, treated at the Armed Forces Central' Hospital between
1972 and 1977. The following elements should be taken into consideration when deciding on the procedure to be followed in treatment: Agressive agent; Anatomical type of lesion; Lesiona! Association and To'pography; and Shock. Morbimortality of the different surgical
procedures employed is analyzed and finally surgical guidelines are established for the different types of Col'onic Wounds, o nthe basis of the results obtained.
