Anatomoechographic correlation of parietal tumor infiltration in rectal cancer

96 patients with rectal pathology were studied by means
of endoluminal echography between november 1989 and
october 1991. 63 tumors were evaluated; 40 cases met
inclusion criteria published in this paper.
Topographical and histological data are included, as
weel as degree of tumoral differentiation and
macroscopical fea tu res of the tumors. T hese were
classified according to the degree of parietal invasion into
intraparietal lesions and evaded lesions.
