Starting in 2024, all of our portal content will be available in the SILO National Repository. Since then, we have been aggregating content for that portal, in a collaborative effort between the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) and the Uruguayan Surgery Society (SCU).
The complete digitalization of the Journal Cirugía del Uruguay, Congresses, and its online publication were carried out with the valuable collaboration of the Ernesto and Elena Benedek Foundation.

Cirugía del Uruguay
Cirugía del Uruguay is the official organ of the Society of Surgery of Uruguay, peer reviewed and continuous journal.
It publishes articles that must be unpublished and original on topics of general surgery, subspecialties, topics of plastic and reconstructive, vascular, thoracic and bariatric surgery as well as basic and clinical research topics: review articles, original articles, clinical cases, letters to editor, innovations in surgical technique, image of the month, scientific videos and articles on the history of Surgery. It is aimed at all health professionals interested in the topics covered.
